Earls Hall Preschool
Our preschool runs Monday to Friday, 9am til 12 noon. For vacancies or to register your child, please contact the church office.
For parents and toddlers, 1pm til 3pm during school term time.
For children in Foundation, year 1 and year 2, every Tuesday afternoon from 3.30pm until 5pm.
Swarm Youth Club
Meeting fortnightly on a Friday evening from 6.15 to 7.30, Swarm is for kids in school years 3-6. We have fun and games including football, table-tennis, wii and board games. There’s also tuck available and a 5 minute talk at the end to get everyone thinking about God.
The Hive Youth Club
Runs fortnightly on Fridays 8-9:30pm. For school years 7-11. Hive provides a safe and welcoming environment for teens to spend time with their friends. We provide the opportunity for young people to ask questions about the Christian Faith, and if they wish to take part it other groups/services run by the Church.
Tuesday’s Tea and Talk
Informal time to pop in from 10.00 – 12 noon for a chat and a cup of tea/coffee. On the 3rd Tuesday in the month we hold a Book Club and the last Tuesday in the month we have a special coffee morning with a Sales Table in aid of Fair Haven’s Hospice.
Thursday’s Time Together
Meet every Thursday (except January and August) to share fun and fellowship together. We open at 1pm and share our packed lunches together, then at 2pm we have either a speaker, or an art and craft time. On the first Thursday in the month we have a social afternoon sharing a cooked meal together. We make a nominal charge of £1 each week and £5 when we have the meal. Anyone is welcome to join us.
One evening a week small groups gather together in differerent church members homes for a time of bible study and fellowship.
Creche for 0-3 year olds on Sunday mornings from 10.30am til 12 noon.
Beginners is a group for children aged three to seven year olds. It meets on Sunday morning 10.30 – 12.00 pm and consists of Bible stories and craft activities.
For children of junior school age (i.e. rising seven to eleven year olds). It meets on Sunday mornings during the church service. Most weeks, some time is shared with the adults in the church and the rest of the morning is spent in the back hall where the children learn about Jesus, and his love for them through Bible stories and various activities such as craft, singing, games, prayer, etc.
Runs most Sunday mornings during the service. For school years 7-11. Each week we explore the Bible in a creative and interactive way, and discuss how and why it is relevant to our lives. There is opportunity to explore who Jesus was and what being a Christian means today. We also enjoy toast and juice!
Held on the first Saturday of each month for the men and is chance for us to get together, to socialise and chat through the topics of the day over lashings of tea or coffee and a full English breakfast – all for just £3. Runs from 9am onwards. All men are welcome!
