I'm New

We’re so pleased that you’re thinking about visiting us at Earls Hall Baptist. Whether you’re new to the area and looking for a church to call home or exploring the Christian faith, we’d love to meet you. Please know that a warm welcome awaits you.

We know that visiting a church for the first time can be daunting, so here is everything you need to know to make your visit as easy as possible.

Planning to visit on a Sunday?

We meet on Sunday’s at 10.30am. Our services are an opportunity to meet together, hear from God’s word, worship together in song and in prayer. After our morning services there is always the opportunity for us to get to know you better over tea and coffee.

Parking

Our church building is found on 120 Hobleythick Lane, Westcliff-On-Sea, SS0 0RJ. The church building has just a few car parking spaces, but there is plenty of off street parking too. You can park up one of the side streets nearby for free.

What can you expect?

Our morning services last about an hour and a half. We don’t have a dress code – come as you are! We’ll spend some time singing songs, which we typically stand for, and all words are on our screen. There is a talk geared for the children and the young people, often with lots of active participation. Children then go to various groups, from creche to a group for younger teenagers.

Following the pandemic lock-downs, and having some of our church family still unable to attend in person, we stream our service live here on our website homepage.

We’ll usually pray together for the world, the country, the community we live in, and also for people in our fellowship. And we will hear a passage read from the bible, which is then the base for a talk.

On some Sundays we will share communion together. The boys and girls who left for their groups come back in for this part of the service.

We have a hearing loop system, and accessible toilets, and an all on-one-level building.
